I admire people who take 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 for their actions. Acknowledging when they 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩, and accepting the praise when they’ve worked hard for something.
We all do 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧, in the way that we know best how. And we 𝐝𝐨 eff up sometimes.
It’s 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐞, but it takes some 𝐜𝐨𝐣𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 to admit the failure openly.
𝐋𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧.
So what stops you from claiming 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬, good and bad? Shyness, inconfidence, delusion, irrationality, immaturity? Because these are some things that I am constantly battling against, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 what is mine.
When shooting with Morten it always feels like his camera can 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐦𝐞. On his shots my face seems to reveal the expressions I didn’t know I even had.
Being a photographer for 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, Morten knows exactly how to 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 those hidden emotions, bring them to the surface to eventually greet and acknowledge 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.
